Work starts on Turbine No. 2 at O Mon 1 Thermal Power Plant

 

      At the works of turbine 02 - O Mon 1 Thermal Power Plant. Lilama  45.1 Joint Stock Company has started equipment installation of piping water circulation and implementing the construction - installation of boiler equipment. Here, the company received the contract worth $ 7.1 million for construction and installation of equipment on the 7000 tons of boiler, turbine, generator, and about 50000 of ID tube  ... Addition, the company also fabricate nearly 600 tons of equipment such as condenser, water pressure vessels ...

 

 

     Known, O Mon 1 Thermal Power Plant has a capacity of  660MW include : 2 tubine with capacity of 330MW  per tubine - built at Thoi Loi, Phuoc Thoi ward, O Mon District, ways the Can Tho city center about 20 km. Tubine  No.1 has been completed and has operated in 2009.

 

 

    The Turbine No. 2 is being built with 27.5 billion JPY (35 million USD) in official development assistance (ODA) loan from Japan , through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). With total capital 9.722 billion VND( about 462 million USD). Expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2015.
