A75 Wide Body Aircraft Hangar has taken in Boeing 777 Aircraft at first time (07/2013)

 

 

In the morning of 01st July 2013, at A75 Wide Body Aircraft Hangar (in Tan Son Nhat Air Port – HCMC), LILAMA 45.1 and the Employer – Vietnam Airlines Corporation (VAC) – has taken in Boeing 777 Aircraft at first time for testing.

 

 It is reported that in Tan Son Nhat Airport, VAC had invested 21.12 USD to build up A75 Wide Body Aircraft Hangar which is equipped the most modern technology line in Vietnam to meet requirements of repair and maintenance of Boeing 777 Aircraft and other aircrafts such as Boeing 777, Airbus A380 and A320.

 

In the project, Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation (LILAMA), the EPC Contractor has carried out design, fabrication, purchase of material and equipments, civil work, installation, run-test, training and introduction of commissioning and hand-over of the hangar with full functions. Besides, LILAMA has supported VAC to register of Certificates of international aviation organizations to enable VAC to use the hangar to technical repair and maintenance for aircraft of Boeing and Airbus.

 

LILAMA assigned LILAMA 45.1 to perform this project directly. Civil work achieved  9.150m² for concrete floor and installation work achieved over 3000 tons of steel structure and mechanical equipment for Hangar area, Annex building area, and Service building area. Especially in this project, LILAMA 45.1 had performed the installation of 1000 tons of steel structure for prestressed   arch roof. It is the combination of structure stretched in flat large ground with dimension of 150mx105m. Upon erection, 09 special wire jacks shall be used simultaneously to pull as per R horizontal method (the arch roof with aperture of 80mx95m shall be lifted to level of 30m). The project which also included many other technical systems such as fire alert – fire fighting system, earthing system for lightning fighting, automatic lighting system, ventilation system, compressed air and breathing air system, goods lifting machine, particular electrical equipment for aircrafts… had been installed and they have being handed over.
